London police say three people are facing charges after an officer was assaulted during an incident on the weekend.
According to police, officers were called to a home in the area of Clemens and Krupp streets around 3:45 a.m. on Sunday in relation to an apparent stabbing. However, when they arrived, it was determined that there had no been a stabbing.
"During the course of the investigation two men and a woman failed to comply with the officers’ requests and were arrested," police said in a media release issued on Tuesday afternoon. "During the interaction one of the officers suffered minor injuries."
Two 25-year-old men and a 23-year-old woman were arrested.
The woman is charged with assaulting a peace officer and obstructing a peace officer.
One of the men is charged with assaulting a peace officer and resisting arrest. The other man is charged with obstructing a peace officer.
