The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Elgin County Detachment are investigating after a dog was shot in the Township of Southwold.
Police said that just before 2 p.m. on November 17, officers responded to the report of a dog that had been shot at a Fifth Line address.
According to police, the owner of the dog heard gunshots and located the injured animal. The dog reportedly suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
