Following a search by the OPP's Emergency Services Team and a K-9 Unit, the suspect was found shortly after. It turned out that one of the vehicles involved in the crash was reported stolen from London.

The 43-year-old man is charged with possession of stolen property over $5,000, driving while prohibited, possession of a forged document, making a forged document, failure to remain at the scene of a crash, careless driving, and failure to comply with an order.

The suspect was held for bail, and the charges have not been proven in court.
