A London man plans to share after winning $300,000 on a lottery ticket given to him by his brother.
Naim Krasniqi won the six-figure prize on an Instant Plinko scratch ticket. The 37-year-old IT worker described himself as an "occasional lottery player" who prefers to play the instant games.
Players have to match any one of the five Lucky Numbers to the Your Numbers on the Plinko ticket in order to win. From there they can qualify for a Plinko event at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto in which they get to drop a chip to win anywhere from $100,000 to $500,000.
"This is my first big win," said Krasniqi.
He went on to state that he was speechless when he saw the Plinko board in person.
"It was very exciting – I felt like I was on stage," said Krasniqi. "I was happy to have my chance to drop the chip. When I won $300,000, I was so happy my body was filled with electric feelings of excitement."
Krasniqi added that the winning ticket was a gift from his brother.
"I want to share this win with him. I am so grateful," said Krasniqi. "I will share this with my family, and I'd love to treat myself to court side seats to a Raptors game to celebrate."
The winning ticket was purchased at Petro Canada on Clarke Side Road in London.
