Racist, homophobic slurs spray-painted on St. Thomas school

St. Thomas police are investigating hateful graffiti spray-painted on a south-end school.

The racist and homophobic slurs were scrawled on the building sometime overnight on Saturday, police said.

Police did not release exactly what was spray-painted or the name of the school where the vandalism took place.

Investigators are working to obtain video of the incident and the investigation is ongoing.

Anyone with information about the vandalism is asked to call police at 519-631-1224 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
