Strathroy-Caradoc police are investigating a sudden death at a long-term care home.
Police were called to the unnamed facility on Thursday morning.
"[We] are conducting an investigation into the circumstances leading up to the death, in conjunction with the Coroner’s Office," police said in a statement.
No details, including the identity, age or gender, of the deceased have been released.
Police did state that there is no threat to public safety.
Officers have since cleared the scene.
The investigation is being headed up by the criminal investigations division.
