Teen charged with north London knife-point robbery

Charges have been laid against a 16-year-old boy after a north London store was robbed at knife-point.

A teen walked into the unnamed business in the area of Wonderland Road North and Beaverbrook Avenue around 10:30 p.m. on Sunday. He then allegedly pulled a knife and threatened employees before stealing property and running from the store.

Police were called and arrested a teen a short distance away. A search turned up a knife and the stolen property, police said.

No injuries were reported.

A 16-year-old, who cannot be named because of his age, is charged with armed robbery. The teen is scheduled to appear in London court on Monday.
