A single-vehicle crash north of Ailsa Craig late last week has left the driver with injuries that are more severe than originally thought.
The vehicle rolled on McGillivray Drive between Lieury and Creamery roads in North Middlesex around 8:15 p.m. last Friday.
The driver, who was the only person inside the vehicle, was taken to hospital with what were initially thought to be non-life threatening injuries.
On Wednesday, Middlesex OPP announced that the individual's condition had since been changed to life-threatening. The driver's name and age have not been released.
The investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing, police said.
