An off-duty London police officer is accused of driving drunk.
The 12-year veteran of the London Police Service was pulled over by OPP in the westbound lanes of Highway 401 near Wonderland Road around 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
"During the stop, the OPP officer entered into an impaired investigation," police said in a statement.
Constable Darryl Horan, 35, of Woodstock was arrested and charged with impaired driving with more than 80 milligrams of alcohol per 100 millilitres of blood.
Horan has been released from custody with conditions. He is scheduled to appear in court in relation to the charge on June 4.
