Ontario's police watchdog is investigating after one man suffered serious injuries during an arrest.
The London Police Service said officers were called to a residence on Base Line Road West at around 4 a.m. Sunday in connection to a break and enter.
Prior to police arrival, a male suspect left the residence on foot.
Uniformed Division officers and a member of the LPS Canine Team attended and began to track the suspect.
Police said they located the 29- year-old male and arrested him.
According to LPS, during the interaction with police the suspect sustained serious but non-life threatening injuries and was transported to hospital.
The Special Investigations Unit is now probing the incident.
