A mid-morning crash on Highway 402 near Mt. Brydges temporarily forced the closure of the westbound lanes of the highway.
Middlesex OPP, firefighters, and paramedics were called to the highway just west of Glendon Drive after a transport truck went into the ditch around 10 a.m. on Monday.
The driver of the transport was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries, police said.
All westbound lanes of the highway at Glendon Drive were closed while police investigated the cause of the crash and crews work to remove the transport. Traffic was rerouted off the highway which caused significant backups in the area.
The highway was reopened around 1 p.m.
