The arrest of a wanted St. Thomas man saw police seize more than $10,000 worth of fentanyl, cocaine, and crystal methamphetamine.
St. Thomas police found a man who was wanted on an outstanding warrant for possession of drugs and failure to comply with probation while on patrol in the city around 1 a.m. on Wednesday. The charges stemmed from an incident in April.
Officers arrested the man and while conducting a search seized 50 Oxycodone pills, five grams of fentanyl, six grams of cocaine, and seven grams of crystal methamphetamine.
The estimated value of the drugs is approximately $10,520, police said.
A 28-year-old from St. Thomas has now been additionally charged with two counts of failure to comply with a probation order and four counts of possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking.
