One person is dead and another is in hospital after a two-vehicle crash east of London.
The vehicles collided on Shaw Road between Dundas and Trafalgar streets in Thames Centre around 1:30 p.m. on Thursday.
One of the drivers was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other driver was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Police have not released the name of the deceased.
"Obviously these are difficult situations for everybody involved, not only first responders but for those who witnessed it or came upon the collision,” said Constable Jeff Hare. “Let’s all do our best to get to where we’re going as safe as possible.”
The investigation into the cause of the crash kept the road closed for several hours.
