Provincial police are looking for two suspects after a gun was fired at a home in Delhi.
Norfolk OPP were called to a property on Talbot Road after the gunfire was heard in the vicinity around 9:23 p.m. on Monday.
Officers found evidence that a gun was discharged at a home and a nearby residential building on Queen Street, causing exterior damage.
No one was hurt, police said.
Witnesses reported seeing a woman in a black Ford Escape SUV being driven by a man. Investigators were told the pair left the area briefly before returning with the firearm, which was fired from inside the vehicle. The SUV was last seen on Talbot Road headed toward Highway 3, police said.
The woman is described as Caucasian, approximately 20-30-years-old, with orange hair. She was wearing a light-coloured sweater, blue jeans, and sandals. The man is described as Caucasian, approximately 20-30-years-old and was wearing a hat, sunglasses, a black balaclava, and a white shirt.
Photos of the woman and the suspect vehicle were released publicly by police on Tuesday afternoon. They are urging anyone with information about the suspects or the shooting to call them at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS). Homeowners in the area are also asked to check their home surveillance systems for any footage of the incident.
