Pride boardwalk vandalised in Tillsonburg

Provincial police in Oxford County are looking for a suspect after another incident of vandalism directed at LGBTQ+ Pride symbols.

The Oxford County Ontario Provincial Police were called on Tuesday, June 11 about damage done to a Pride boardwalk at a business in Tillsonburg. According to police, it happened sometime overnight on Sunday, June 9.

"...an individual attended a boardwalk at a business in Tillsonburg, that had been painted with the colours of the rainbow to celebrate Pride Month," police said. "The individual attended the address on a red and white dirt bike and drove onto the boardwalk using the rotation of the rear tire to remove paint and cause damage to the wood."
