Fans of the London Knights will get their first chance to see the defending Ontario Hockey League champions on home ice on September 27.
The OHL announced the dates for 2024-2025 home openers for each team on Thursday.
The Knights will host the Flint Firebirds at Budweiser Gardens on Friday, September 27.
The following night, the two teams will meet again in Flint.
The Knights will go into the 2024-2025 season as the reigning champions of the Ontario Hockey League. Their win in the final series against Oshawa earned them a spot in the Memorial Cup in Saginaw. While the Knights were undefeated in the round robin portion of the Canadian Hockey League championship, they suffered a heartbreaking loss in the dying seconds of the final game against Saginaw, falling 4-3 to the host Spirit.
