A 22-year-old London man is facing charges in connection with a weekend hit-and-run in the city that left a pedestrian with serious injuries.

The pedestrian was walking at the intersection of Wonderland Road North and Oxford Street West around 7:30 p.m. on Sunday when he was hit by a white van. The vehicle did not stop, London police said.

The pedestrian was taken to hospital with serious injuries. He remained there as of Wednesday, police said.

Police appealed to the public for dash-cam and security footage from the area in the hours following the collision.

Three days later, police announced a 22-year-old London man had been arrested.
