Police trying to identify truck, suspects in pair of armed break-ins

London police are looking for two suspects after a pair of armed home invasions on the same city street, just weeks apart.

The first incident on Millbank Drive near Southdale Road East happened around 6 a.m. on June 8. Two men wearing masks and carrying weapons forced their way inside. They took nothing and left in a newer black pickup truck before police arrived.

Three people inside the home suffered minor injuries in the encounter, police said. They did not require medical treatment.

Just over two weeks later, police were called about a similar style break-in. A resident of another Millbank Drive home awoke to find two men they did not know inside. The pair were reportedly carrying weapons and again nothing was taken from the home.

No one was hurt and the men left in a pickup truck.

Investigators believe the same two men are behind both break-ins. One is described as Black, approximately 6', 40-years-old, with a medium build. He was wearing a ski mask, gloves, a light brown zip-up jacket with a logo, black pants, and black shoes in the first incident.

The second suspect is said to be White, approximately 5’11”, 30-years-old, with a medium build. He was wearing a ski mask, clear goggles, a dark-coloured sweater, and black pants.

Police have also released a picture of the suspect pickup truck publicly in hopes someone will be able to identify its owner. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 519-661-5670 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).

Police offered no information about the types of weapons seen during the incidents.
