Knights Lose 7-3 To Steelheads

The London Knights fell 7-3 to the Mississauga Steelheads in OHL action on Friday.

The Steelheads took a 2-1 lead in the first period, with Janne Kuokkanen scoring the one goal for London. However, Mississauga scored another two goals in the second to make it 4-1 going into the third.

Cliff Pu led off the final frame with goal for London five minutes in, which was answered with the Steelheads' fifth goal of the night. Sam Miletic scored for the Knights to make it 5-3 with just over six minutes left in the game, but Mississauga was able to score another two goals to ensure their win.

Despite the loss, London out shot Mississauga 37-33.

The Knights will take on the Sting in Sarnia on Saturday at 7:05pm.
