Knights Top 67's 7-2

The London Knights hammered the Ottawa 67's 7-2 in OHL action on Friday.

The Knights took a 1-0 advantage in the first period thanks to a goal by Evan Bouchard. ante Salituro and Mitchell Vande Sompel both scored in the first half of the second to extend London's lead.

Ottawa scored their first goal of the night 14:22 into the second frame, but Brandon Crawley responded with a goal to make it 4-1 for London. The 67's scored again just before the end of the period to bring the score to 4-2.

Mitchell Stephens led off the third period with a goal for the Knights just over seven minutes in, followed by Salituro who scored his second of the night less than two minutes later.  Sam Miletic added one last goal with just over eight minutes left in the game to cap off London's win.

London goaltender Tyler Parsons made 34 saves out of 36 shots on net.

The Nights will take on the Niagara IceDogs next on Sunday. The puck will drop at Budweiser Gardens at 2pm.
