The Essex 73's edged the Amherstburg Admirals 3-2 in PJHL action on Tuesday.
Michael Vieira, Eric Shaw and William Stadder each scored once for Essex.
Luke Gangnon and Dylan Muzzatti scored the two goals for Amherstburg.
The Admirals will be on home ice on Sunday to take on the Lakeshore Canadiens at 7pm. And then on January 31, the 73's face off against the Wheatley Sharks at the Essex Centre Sports Complex at 7pm.

And in the GOJHL, the London Nationals downed the Lambton Shores Predators 8-6.
Max Vinogradov led the Nationals with a hat trick, while Quinn Lenihan, Michael Andlauer, Brenden Trottier, Brandon Glover and Derek Di Iorio all scored once.
The Nationals will take on the Chatham Maroons in London on Wednesday at 7:30pm.
