Julian Boyd sunk 32 points and picked up 13 rebounds as the London Lightning beat the Niagara River Lions 110-90 Saturday at Budweiser Gardens.
The Lightning maintained their lead in the NBL Central Division standings with an 8-3 record.
In addition to Boyd's double double, Marvin Phillips added 19 points for the Lightning and Royce White sunk 14. 64 of London's points were scored in the paint.
The Lightning had an easy first half, maintaining the game's tempo and completing the first half with a 61-39 lead over Niagara. The River Lions did open up their offensive play in the second half but they were unable to make much progress cutting into London's sizeable lead.
