Lightning snap losing streak with a 120-117 win

The Lightning snuck out a close win on the road against Sudbury to get above .500 Saturday night.

London had six player score in double digits as they beat the Five 120-117. They were led by Anthony Gaines Jr. who scored 25 points off the bench.

The Lightning outscored Sudbury by 11 points in the first and even though the Five won the second and third quarters, London was able to come out with a big fourth to snap a two-game losing streak.

It was a big win for the Lightning as it brings their record to 5-4 and now only trail Sudbury by one game in the Central Division.

Xavier Moon had a double-double for the Lightning with 13 points and 11 rebounds in a team-leading 42 minutes played.
