Update: Victim in Fatal Farming Accident in Bluevale Identified

Huron OPP have released the name of the man killed in a farming accident yesterday near Bluevale.

In a release police say they were called around 3:30 yesterday afternoon to a beef farm on Jamestown Road south of Bluevale.

Emergency crews arrived and found a man unresponsive. Responders provided first aid but the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say it appears the owner was pinned between the bucket of a skid steer and the frame of the machine when the bucket shifted suddenly while he was working underneath.

The man has been identified as 41-year-old David Johnston of Morris-Turnberry.

An autospy is being done today.
