City officials will be joined by representatives of Southbridge Care Homes at the 162-year-old building.
Southbridge operates 12 long-term care homes in Ontario, including Georgian Heights and Maple View in Owen Sound.
Last month, the Tom Thomson Art Gallery expressed interest in taking over the building.
