Wingham Anglican Church Remembers Murdered Aboriginal Woman

Church Bells will toll in Wingham every day for 22 days.

Anglican Churches across the country have decided to mark the release of the report into abuse at residential schools by ringing the bells 55 times a day.

Spokesman John Beardsley of St. Pauls Trinity Anglican Church in Wingham says the bells will ring for each missing or murdered aboriginal woman.

He says that represents the work and education that needs to be done

Bells will also ring at the Blyth and Brussels Anglican Churches which are also part of the Parrish of New Beginnings.
