Perth County OPP is investigating a serious collision that occurred this morning at the intersection of Perth Line 26 and Road 111.
Preliminary investigation revealed that at approximately 7:15 a.m., a Kenworth tractor-trailer was westbound on Perth Line 26 when it was in collision with a car southbound on Road 111.
The impact forced the car into the north ditch while the tractor-trailer jack-knifed and ended up on the south shoulder overhanging the south ditch.
The driver of the car, 18-year-old Courtney Davis of Zorra Twp sustained major injuries and was transported by air ambulance to hospital.
The 61-year-old truck driver from East Zorra was not injured.
The OPP have since re-opened Perth Line 26.
