BlackburnNews.com stock photo.Perth County OPP is investigating a break-in and mischief at a mink farm north of St. Marys.
Police say the break in occurred sometime between 11pm last night and 1am this morning at a property on Road 125.
A number of wide openings were cut in the perimeter fence, and about 6,800 mink were released from their cages.
Farm employees recaptured many of the mink, but some escaped and are still missing.
In May, there was a similar occurrence at a mink farm on Perth Line 9
The man was charged in March with sexual assault offences.
Both couples won in the April 11 draw.
