Tonight is opening night for "Behind the Bars" at the Huron County Historic Gaol.
Education and Programming Assistant Sinead Cox explains this event has been staged for more than ten years in various forms, but for the last few years, volunteer actors take on the roles of real prisoners at the jail and answer questions about their lives and their incarceration.
Cox says they have 22 actors playing the parts of prisoners who are behind bars for things like vagrancy to theft, stabbing and luncacy.
Behind the Bars will run every Tuesday and Thursday evening from 7pm to 9pm for the rest of the summer.
