Bayfield Wind And Water Festival Gets Underway

The Bayfield and Area Chamber of Commerce is hosting a new and revised Wind and Water Festival this weekend.

Chamber Co-Chair Leanne Kavanagh says they're still looking for boats to sail in the water parade this evening.

Saturday morning, Kryart Studio will help teach young people how to paint a kite and then they'll be invited to head down to Pioneer Park in the afternoon to fly their kites.

Also on Saturday, Windmill Lake is hosting the first paddle board races in Bayfield. Anyone with a paddle board is invited to enter. Registration starts at ten in the morning and the races start at noon. This event is free for spectators.

There will also be a skydiving demonstration on Sunday at Windmill Lake.

A complete schedule and location of events can be found on the Village of Bayfield website.
