Grey and Bruce emergency services were put to the test today in a mock disaster exercise in Walkerton.
The scenario was a tornado that tore through the area. The disaster victims were played by high school students who are attending a week long medical camp for students interested in a possible career in medicine.
They've heard from guest speakers and had hands on experience in things like suturing and casting.
Katie Stoner goes to Saugeen District Secondary School in Port Elgin.
"I wasn't sure whether I wanted to go to medical school or whether I wanted to go into nursing and after this week I've kind of decided I want to be a nurse practitioner so that really helped," says Stoner.
The Medical Camp is part of the Medlinks program. Three medical students from London are in the area for the summer learning about practicing rural medicine.
