A 27-year-old Wellington North man is dead after a two-vehicle collision just south of Listowel Friday.
The Perth County OPP says officers were called to the crash on Hwy. 23 just before 11pm.
Police officials say a northbound Oldsmobile Intrigue collided with the back of a northbound truck and trailer that had pulled onto the highway from Line 84.
The lone occupant of the Intrigue sustained major injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
He has been identified as 27-year-old Alex John Szablowski of Wellington North.
The truck driver, a 61-year-old man from Harriston, sustained minor injuries from the crash.
