Huron County's acting Medical Officer of Health is reminding adults in Huron to make sure their vaccinations are up to date.
Doctor Janice Owen points out most of us tend to forget about immunizations once we're out of school but it's still important to be protected as we get older.
She adds that also protects other people like very young children or elderly people who are more vulnerable.
Doctor Owen recommends that every ten years adults get a Tetanus, Diphtheria and Pertussis booster.
She adds if you can't remember when you had your last vaccine, you're probably due.
