A break near Keuhner Street has affected water services in areas north of Lake Huron Highlands, including Inverhuron and Inverhuron Provincial Park.
Crews hope to have Eastwood, Parkwood and Birchwood service restored within the hour.
Full service for all residents should be available by late afternoon.
Residents should ensure their hot water heater is off.
If the heater drains, and can't refill , the element could burn out.
You could also shut off the water to the house.
When service is restored, homeowners should run the cold water tap for several minutes to flush out discoloured water.
