Huron and Perth County officials met again Tuesday to discuss the possible merger of EMS services.
Huron County C-A-O Brenda Orchard says in three previous meetings it has been determined that a head office would be located in Perth County and Perth County would provide the senior leadership.
Orchard explains that Tuesday's meeting was about costing models, budgets and potential organizational structure.
Orchard adds both wardens sat in on the meeting and they've asked for more information regarding a comparison between the current budget and a potential amalgamated budget.
Orchard also points out that saving money is one objective of the talks but the other is a chance to improve service through things like joint training should the amalgamation take place.
Orchard says the next meeting is scheduled for September 1st.
