Avon Maitland elementary Public School teachers are back in school this week taking a refresher in problem solving and technology. A three day comprehensive mathematics course explores hands on learning for students in grades 4 - 6 with a problem solving approach. The teachers will try to hone their skills in teaching various concepts. Other teachers will explore the use of technology, from iPads and apps, to video conferencing, blogging, and creating videos. The teachers will be in class today and tomorrow at the Arden Park Hotel in Stratford.
