(BlackburnNews.com file photo)An Elmira man has died as a result of injuries he suffered in a crash east of Palmerston yesterday.
Allan Poffenroth, 68, was airlifted to a Hamilton hospital after a three vehicle crash at the intersection of Wellington County Rd. 8 and Wellington County Rd. 9 in the Township of Mapleton. The crash happened just after 2:40 p.m. yesterday.
Members from the OPP Technical Collision Investigation Team are continuing to investigate.

Fortunately, no children were on board the bus, but the drivers of both vehicles were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The man was charged in March with sexual assault offences.
