The Huron Food Action Network is launching its Food Charter on Saturday night. Food System Co-ordinator Nathan Swartz describes the Charter as a visioning document that lays out what the community wants regarding their food. Swarts adds that starts with the production of the food and carries through to the processing and all the way down to the selling of food in their community and even how food waste is treated. Swartz also points out they've had a lot of meetings and made a lot presentations so they chose a party theme for the Launch. He compares it to a bands launch of a new C-D. Swarts explains the event will be held in the Bayfield Town Hall and they'll have a live band and the meal will consist of as much local food as possible. The public is invited and it starts at six o'clock at the Bayfield Town Hall. Tickets are 25 dollars at the door
