In Western Junior C action, Goderich flew passed Mitchell 11-5. Luke Fraser put the Flyers on the board early with a pair of goals less than 30 seconds apart in the opening minutes of the first period.
Fraser would score a hat trick before the period was over. Tyler McCracken had two goals and Kyle Langlois also scored to give the Flyers a 6-2 lead after the first frame.
Fraser struck 34 seconds into the second, his fourth of the game. Brad MacIntyre and Jesse McIntyre chipped in one each and Kyle Spence helped Goderich hold on to its lead with one of his own.
Jake Finlayson and Kyle Spence would answer for Mitchell in the second.
Tyler McCracken capped off his hat trick in the third with an unassisted goal at 6:20. Trent Michie had Goderich's final goal of the night at 10:33.
Nathan Watson earned the win for the Flyers with 25 saves.
Ryan Hamelin, Matt Shields and Lauchlin Elder each had a goal and an assist in the game. Tristan Lewis made 26 saves.
