Grey County OPP officers are dealing with a number of collisions involving animals, including deer, a cattle beast, and wild turkeys.
Police say a vehicle collided with wild turkeys on Side Rd. 20, and another collision on Grey Rd. 40 near Gore Cres. in Chatsworth involved the cattle beast.
Police say the injuries forced police to dispatch the animal.
Police are also responding to an increasing number of collisions involving deer.
The OPP expects those types of crashes to increase as hunting season gets underway.
Police are asking motorists to watch for deer from sunset to midnight, and around sunrise.
They also remind drivers that deer seldom run alone, so if you see one, you can expect others nearby.
Using your high beam headlights can better illuminate the eyes of the deer near the road.
You should break firmly if you notice a dear near your path, but don't swerve from your lane, as you could lose control, or hit another vehicle.
