About 100 people showed up for a Perth-Wellington all-candidates meeting at the Harriston Community Centre Wednesday.
The meeting, organized by the Minto Retirees Activity Group, attracted a lot of questions regarding seniors’ issues, but it also delved into issues of infrastructure spending, debt, and the future of supply management.
Those in the audience were able to question Conservative John Nater, Liberal Stephen McCotter, Christian Heritage Irma DeVries, and Independent Roger Fuhr.
NDP candidate Ethan Rabidoux and Green Party's Nicole Ramsdale were not able to attend.
The six candidates are vying to replace incumbent Conservative MP Gary Schellenberger who has retired.
