Meaford taxpayers will get their first look at the municipality's draft budget for 2016 this month, but they will have to wait until November 9 to ask questions and air their concerns.
Treasurer Darcy Chapman introduces the draft budget to Meaford council on October 13. That's when he'll explain how much money Meaford expects to receive, and where they could be spending it.
November 9 is the day when Meaford holds the first of three public meeting and provides a chance for ratepayers to quiz Chapman on the draft budget.
That meeting will run from 7pm to 9pm in the council chamber.
The next two public meetings will be on November 16 at Annan Trinity United Church and December 7 at Bognor Community Hall. These meetings will also run from 7pm to 9pm.
