Community-minded residents of Hensall have formed a committee to see what can be done to improve the appearance of the village, and specifically the main street.
Committee member Chuck Mallette says they are concerned about the overall appearance of the main street, including the number of empty storefronts, but also about some of the village's infrastructure.
They want to support the existing businesses and make Hensall attractive for new businesses.
Mallette acknowledges that money is tight, but says they're looking at this as a long term project.
