Perth Wellington's MP Elect Writes to New Prime Minister

Perth Wellington MP Elect John Nater has written an open letter to the New Prime Minister Elect, calling Justin Trudeau's success an historic achievement.

He says his constituents expect the new government to live up to promises to be hard working, transparent and inclusive.

He pointed out that rural and small town infrastructure is a major priority, with countless roads and bridges in Perth Wellington that need attention.

He says other priorities include rural transportation such as a Via Rail North Line, wastewater treatment in Arthur, and a new arena in Listowel.

He adds it's important to connect people with suitable and well paying jobs.

The MP Elect also says tax relief, and trade are local priorities.

Nater says he will stand up for the interests of constituents, in a constructive way.
