BlackburnNews.com photoMinto Mayor George Bridge has handed out cheques from the proceeds of his 5th annual charity golf tournament earlier this summer.
Three community groups were selected to receive $3,500 each. They were Palmerston Junior Broomball, the Minto Farmers Markets and the Clifford Homecoming 2017.
Mayor Bridge says any Minto group looking for funding should get their name in early in the New Year for next year’s golf tournament.
The man was charged in March with sexual assault offences.
Both couples won in the April 11 draw.
Rondeau Harbour and Wheatley Harbour will now have the funding to make infrastructure repairs and upgrades.
