A 61 year old Owen Sound man has died after a two vehicle collision on Highway 26 east of Owen Sound .
Grey County OPP say the head on crash involved a tractor trailer and a Kia Soul east of Grey road 5 about 8 this morning.
Rescuers extricated Eric Westholm from the car, and he was rushed to hospital, but succumbed to his injuries.
The driver of the tractor trailer, a 48-year old man from Mount Forest, was not injured.
Drivers are asked to avoid the section of Highway 26 between Grey Road 5 and Grey Road 11.
Police say it may be closed for several hours.
