An Owen Sound man suffered life-threatening injuries after being struck by a car last night.
The 60-year-old man had been pushing a shopping cart along the road on 2nd Ave. E around 10:30pm when he was struck by a car driven by a 47-year-old Owen Sound man.
Police say it was dark and raining at the time.
The injured pedestrian was initially taken to the Grey Bruce Health Services by ambulance but was later transferred to London Health Sciences in critical, but stable condition.
No charges have been laid.
