The hunt is on for the next big business idea in Grey, Bruce, Wellington North and Minto.
The Saugeen Economic Development Corporation is partnering with the Bruce Community Futures Development Corporation to deliver the 'Hawks' Nest'.
It's a Dragons' Den inspired competition where entrepreneurs pitch their business ideas in an attempt to win financial support from local investors, or "Hawks".
The business plan/application deadline to be one of seven Hawk's Nest candidates is January 15th at 3:00 p.m.
The Hawks Nest event will be held at the Kincardine Pavilion on June 21st, 2016.
All start-up businesses must attend a free training session to receive assistance with preparing or revising your business plans.
The training sessions will take place at the following locations:
Friday, November 27th at the Kincardine Lake Huron Learning Centre, 385 Queen Street, Kincardine.
Tuesday, December 1st at the Owen Sound Days Inn and Conference Centre, 950 6th Street East, Owen Sound.
Wednesday, December 2nd in the Harriston Library Basement, 88 Mill Street, Harriston.
Thursday, December 10th at the Saugeen Economic Development Corporation office, 515 Mill Street, Neustadt.
All training sessions will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
