The United Way Perth Huron kicks off the 2015 Care-A-Van of Hope tomorrow. Scotia bank branches in Perth and Huron Counties will collect donations for the United way until December 10th. And the Team Scotia Community program will match donations up to $15,000. Andrew Williams, 2015 Campaign Chair says, "We each have the power to help strengthen the fabric of our community. Through United Way we can donate the time and money to help thousands of residents across Huron and Perth, improving lives and strengthening families". "I work in both counties, as the President & CEO of HPHA, and see first-hand the importance of the United Way, so it is an honour and a privilege to have been asked to Chair the campaign. I look forward to engaging as many supporters as possible to assure its success during the Care-A-Van of Hope." On Thursday December 10th, United Way staff and volunteers will collect donations from branches in St. Marys , Exeter, Goderich, Listowel, Milverton, Mitchell and Stratford. "We are honoured to be involved with this matching program for the fifth year,” said Don McNabb, Community Branch Manager at Scotiabank. “We know there is need in our community, and Scotiabank is happy to work with the United Way of Perth-Huron to help make our community better for everyone.”
