South Bruce Peninsula Man Sentenced

A South Bruce Peninsula man has been sentenced in connection to sexual assault charges dating back to 2013 and 2014.

Shawn Ball, 31, plead guilty to invitation to sexual touching and sexual assault this week. He also breached a bail term.

Ball was sentenced to the 199 days time already served in pre-sentence custody and 18 months probation. He will be on the sex offenders registry for 10 years and is banned from owning a weapon for five years.

The charges relate to two incidents in September of 2013 and April of 2014 involving a young girl.

Two other men face charges.

Aaron Feltis, 39, of Georgian Bluffs is due back in Owen Sound court tomorrow and Robert Abell, 29, of Georgian Bluffs will be on trial in February.
